                    [Affirmative sentences]                             1. Pronoun में परिवर्तन :-

(i) Reported speech में 1^st person के pronoun को Reporting Verb के अनुसार बदला जाता है|

(ii) Reported speech में 2^nd person के pronoun को Reporting verb के object के अनुसार बदलता है|

(iii) 3^rd person के pronoun = No change |

2. Tense परिवर्तन :-

(i) Reporting Verb , present व future tense में हो तो reported speech में कोई परिवर्तन नहीं होता है|

(ii) Reporting Verb ,Past tense में हो तो निम्न परिवर्तन होंगे-

3.दूरी-निकटता प्रकट करने वाले शब्दों में परिवर्तन :-

4. Connective :-  That का प्रयोग होता है|

5. Say का परिवर्तन :-

     (i)     Helping verb से शुरू होने वाले :-

Said to/said	Asked
Say to	Ask
Says to	Asks

(ii)               Connective :-

       If /weather का प्रयोग होता है|

(iii)          Wh. word से शुरू होने वाले :-

     Connective के लिए wh. Word का प्रयोग किया जाता है|

          [IMPERATIVE SENTENCES]

(i)                 (i)  V1  से प्रारंभ होने वाले :-

Said to              =           asked , ordered , advised , requested

(ii)                   (i)   Do/do not से प्रारंभ होने वाले :-

Said /said to          =                advised / forbade

(iii)                  (i)   Please / kindly से प्रारंभ होने वाले :-

Said / said to        =                requested

(iv)                  (iv) let से प्रारंभ होने वाले :-

Said /said to            =                requested

Note   :-    connective के लिए to का प्रयोग होता है|

Note   :-    यदि  reported  speech  में let us या let`s को  reporting verb  का subject  हो तथा reporting verb का  object 3<sup>rd</sup> person का pronoun हो तो reporting verb में said /said to को  suggested / suggested toमें बदल दिया जाता है तथा  let`s / let us को  they should / we should में बदल दिया जाता है|

(i)              (i)  मिलने का भाव होने पर :-                                                   said / said to        =                Wished

(ii)          (ii)  विदा लेने का भाव होने पर :-

Said /said to         =              bade

Note :- connective के लिए to का use करते है|

      [OPTATIVE SENTENCES]

(i)      प्रार्थना का भाव होने पर :-

               Said / said to         =            Prayed

(ii)        (ii)  कामना का भाव होने पर :-

Said / Said to       =        Wished

(iii)       (iii)  आशीर्वाद का भाव होने पर :-

Said / Said to      =         blessed

(iv)         (iv)  श्राप का भाव होने पर :-

Said / Said to      =        cursed

Note :- connective के लिए  that का प्रयोग होता है|                [EXCLAMATORY SENTENCES]

(i)      जब प्रसन्नता का भाव प्रकट हो :-

Said / Said to    =           Exclaimed with joy / delight

(ii)            (ii) जब शोक प्रकट होने का भाव हो :-

Said / Said to      =        Exclaimed with sorrow / grief

(iii)       (iii)     जब प्रशंसा करने का भाव प्रकट हो :-

Said / Said to    =       praised / applauded

(iv)          (iv) यदि वाक्य में Good Heavens का प्रयोग हो तो :-

Said / Said to       =       exclaimed with surprise

(v)            (ii)   What a या How से प्रारंभ होने वाले वाक्य में :-

Said / Said to             exclaimed                                                                            Note :-  What a या  how के बाद यदि noun हो तो इन्हें great में बदलते है|   Note:- What a या how के बाद यदि  adjective आए तो इन्हें very में बदलते है|
